Living in God’s favor is first and foremost because of God’s desire to deem it so.
The Psalmist tells us “that God has crowned us with glory and honor.” (Psalm 8:5)
David wrote: " Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” (Psalm 23:6) Despite whatever the situation was, David knew that he walked in the honor/favor of God so David was always expecting God’s goodness and mercy all of the time. True trouble sometimes came but God’s favor carried him through.
If it be in rough times or times of many blessings, God’s favor is with you. It has been stated that: “Favor is having God's undeserving and unmerited blessings surround you like a force field because you are His child, a child of the most high God, the creator of the entire universe, the master of everything.”
God’s favor positions us towards embracing the right opportunities that we can take advantage of. Because of God’s favor we find ourselves in the right place at the right time. Because of God’s favor, everything just seems to just work out. God’s favor will give you the courage you need to press on in life.
When you know that the favor of God is upon you, you walk in confidence. Walking in God’s favor should cause you to thank God for the peace that God extends to you. Thank God in advance for financial blessings coming your way. Thank God for the blessings in your family to come. Thank God for God’s favor in your life!
The Bible assures us to have: "Hope to the end for the divine favor that is coming to you." (1 Peter 1:13)
