God’s favor blessing you is not dependent upon your being perfect! David was by no means perfect. But David knew how to ask for God’s forgiveness. David knew how to repent. When we ask God for forgiveness, God will forgive us. In fact, this is also a part of God’s favor towards us.
Because David knew how to repent and seek God’s forgiveness, God proclaimed about David: "I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart.” (Acts 13:22)
While you cannot earn God’s favor still strive to live worthy of God’s favor. This will show God that you are appreciative of God’s favor in your life. Read your Bible, actively strive to live out the Word of God, attend worship, embrace prayer and praise, and always be ready to share God with others.
Peace with Justice, Be Blessed Real Good, Attend Worship, and Families Matter.
