1) Return to the '60s
Support library programs in Greentown while celebrating The Beatles Saturday night. Local tribute band, The Beatles Remix, performs at Eastern Howard Performing Arts Center. Doors open at 6:15 p.m. and show starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $15 and include dinner. The event celebrates the 50th anniversary of The Beatles coming to the U.S. The night will also feature a '60s-themed costume contest, The Beatles karaoke and period pictures in front of a yellow submarine.
2) Praise God
Christian artists Manic Drive, Ryan Stevenson, Consumed By Fire and 3union perform at Grace United Methodist Church tonight. Doors open at 6 p.m. and show starts at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 at the door.
Manic Drive, Canadian Christian rock sensations, return to Kokomo for their "Good Times 2014" tour. Fishers group 3union, who just auditioned for "America's Got Talent," will be the opening act.
3) See Grammy-nominated talent
Grammy nominated multi-instrumentalist Tim Reynolds brings his band TR3 to the Rhum Academy of Music Saturday night.
After gaining national acclaim as a celebrated guitar virtuoso and frequent collaborator with Dave Matthews, Reynolds re-imagined TR3 to fuse an eclectic mix of funk, rock, jazz, and classical into their 2009 studio album.
Tickets are available at Rhum Academy for $25 cash, with a $5 processing fee for credit card purchases.
