See the Kokomo Tribune's own Jill Bond on stage during Kokomo Civic Theatre's production of "The Odd Couple Female Version." She plays Florence Ungar, a neurotic woman who just separated from her husband and is trying to land on her feet.

There are shows at 8 p.m. tonight and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday at Indiana University Kokomo's Havens Auditorium. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for students through college.

Or check out the Kokomo Curtain Call children's theater production of the "The Twelve Daughters of Hercules." Show are 7 p.m. tonight and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday at Sycamore Elementary School. Tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for kids 14 and under.

2) Laugh out loud

Let yourself laugh the night away as Mike Armstrong and Kokomo-native Marques Bunn take the stage at Elite Banquet & Conference Center tonight.

Doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door.

Mike Armstrong is a former police officer from Louisville, Ky. He’s a regular guest on The Bob and Tom show, with TV credits ranging from Oprah to CBS Morning News to Good Morning America.

He brings to the stage a hilarious set of anecdotes about his time as a sworn officer, his wife of many years, (“I’ve been married so long, I don’t look when I cross the street!”), his neighbors, and his kids. When Mike tells his funny anecdote about meeting a burglar in his own home, naked and with an axe, you will wonder why the burglar didn’t called the police on him.

3) Dance with daddy

Dads, dress your little girls up in their best dresses and take them out for a night of dancing and fun at the Father Daughter Sweetheart Ball.

The dance starts at 6 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Cost is $50 per couple at the door. The night includes dinner, dancing, craft time, dance lessons and photo opportunitie
