Join in on a tour through the streets of downtown Kokomo, exploring the city's past, present and future. The tour makes stops at PepperWhistle Cafe for a goose dinner and a peek at the distant past, LeaderOne Financial for dessert and a lesson on the city's recent history and Bohemian Tattoo Club for a party and a look at the city's future. Dinner starts at 5:30 p.m. Saturday. Tour leaves at 7 p.m. Cost is $40 for dinner and tour and $15 for tour only.
2) Songs for storm victims
Spend tonight listening to great area bands and helping out those who lost their homes and businesses in the November tornado. Check out the tornado relief concert at Elite Banquet & Conference Center, 2820 S. Lafountain. The event starts at 2 p.m. and includes dinner and a raffle. Bands start at 5 p.m. The last act takes the stage at 11 p.m. The cost is $10 at the door and includes a meal.
3) King and Queen of the wing
Test your taste buds during this chicken wing eating contest at Halftime Sports Bar & Grill, 3040 S. Lafountain, Kokomo. The contest starts at 8 p.m tonight. There is room for 12 men and 12 women. It costs $15 to sign up, but the fee comes with free shirt. And $200 in cash and prizes goes to the winners. Do you have what it takes to be king or queen of the chicken wing?
