---- — People cleared store shelves, churches canceled services and businesses shut down ahead of Sunday’s winter storm that dumped more than 10 inches of snow on Kokomo and even more on places like Tipton and Peru.
It snowed for 11 straight hours, leaving roads treacherous.
Then as the snow wound down, the temperatures plummeted impeding cleanup efforts across the state.
People bundled up when they finally had to get out to shovel sidewalks or go to work. Even the animals were affected by the storm.
