1) Laugh House
Comedian Mike Gardner officially opened his downtown comedy club, Laugh House Kokomo, Thursday night with live performances from national touring comics Kenny Smith, Cleveland and Jeff Oskay.
There's still time to catch all three comedians in action and check out the club and adjoining bar. The comics will be performing at 7 and 9:30 p.m. tonight and Saturday.
General admission tickets are just $8, and VIP tickets are $13.
2) Waka Flocka
Rapper Waka Flocka Flame is in Kokomo tonight for a show at Centerstage Bar & Grill. Doors open at 7 p.m. and show starts at 8 p.m.
Waka Flocka is an Atlanta rapper who became a mainstream artist in 2009 with his singles "O Let's Do It," "Hard in da Paint" and "No Hands," which peaked at No. 13 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100.
Tickets for the show are $35 at the door. The show is open to all ages.
3) Ribs and Blues
Check out RibFest in Foster Park tonight and tomorrow. Stuff your face with as many delicious ribs as you can manage because a portion of food sales benefit youth programs at Carver Community Center.
But there's more than just food at RibFest. There will be kids' games, pony rides and live music. Soul artist Booker T performs Saturday night with special guests Token Blue, Inside Out, the Jason Skaggs Band and Rewind. The show goes from 4 to 10:30 p.m. The concert is free.
