1) Backstreet's Back
See the Backstreet Boys in concert with special guest Avril Lavigne at Klipsch Music Center in Noblesville at 7:30 tonight.
The Backstreet Boys are the best-selling boy band in history with an excess of 130 million albums sold worldwide, and they're the only group since Sade to release seven consecutive albums in the top 10 of the Billboard Top 200.
In 2013, they were honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and celebrated 20 years together with a party streamed around the world. The group also launched a worldwide tour that started with sold-out stops in China.
Tickets to the Klipsch show range in price from $20 to $220.
2) Family entertainment
Take the kids to see Booth Tarkington Civic Theatre's production of "My son, Pinocchio Jr." at The Tarkington, 3 Center Green, Carmel.
Shows are 7 tonight and 2 and 5 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for youth.
In the show, Pinocchio must prove himself brave, truthful and unselfish, but what about the toymaker? Raising a perfect child might not be as easy as it looks. The Blue Fairy and her Fairies in Training lead Geppetto on a hilarious journey through this fractured fairytale in order to discover what it means to be "A real father."
3) Circle City Pride Parade
Head to downtown Indianapolis Saturday for Circle City Pride parade to celebrate gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender rights.
The parade starts at 10 a.m. and goes from the corner of Massachusetts Avenue and College Avenue to the Indianapolis Public Library.
There are more than 100 floats and exhibits being featured in this year's parade.
