This week's best bets

1) Symphony in the Park

Kokomo Symphony Orchestra performs live with “Satisfaction," The International Rolling Stones tribute band in Foster Park Saturday night.

This free concert will be at 8 p.m.

"Satisfaction" is the international touring tribute show dedicated to the "World's Greatest Rock & Roll Band." This glamorous show has been in production and touring since 2001 with over 2,000 performance dates to its credit. It is the only full time touring show of its kind in the world. This highly acclaimed production showcases the most authentic cast and costuming audiences have ever witnessed. The likes of Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and supporting cast bring a colorful performance to over 50 years of classic hits.

VIP tables to Saturday's show are available for purchase online at kokomosymphony.net. Please support your local symphony and be seated by the stage in the VIP section at the concert.

For more information call the Kokomo Symphony’s office at 765-236-0251.

2) Steve-O's 'shameless' comedy

Steve-O, who gained his fame as part of MTV's "Jackass" team, performs all weekend at Laugh House comedy club in downtown Kokomo.

He mixes stunts with stand-up comedy in his show that he describes as "shameless." No personal story is too embarrassing to share with his audiences.

Be sure to bring a camera because Steve-O says he will stay after the show to pose for photos with anyone who wants one.

Performances are 7 and 9:30 tonight and 7 p.m. Saturday. General admission tickets are $22 and VIP tickets are $27.

3) Rapper Rittz in town

Head to Centerstage Bar & Grill at 6:30 tonight to catch Atlanta rapper Rittz performing.

Raised in Gwinnett County, just outside Atlanta, Rittz embodies the same level of irony and self-conflict as his hometown. Born into a musical family, he, his twin sister and their brother had always been exposed to the inner workings of music.
