— Step back to the ’80s with tribute
Moonwalk back to the 1980s like a “Smooth Criminal” and sing along to Who’s Bad, as in the Michael Jackson tribute band. Lead singer, Joseph Bell’s strikingly similar hair, moves and voice deserve a fist pump and “Long-live MJ!” chant. Start the first weekend of fall off with a “Scream” for sequins jackets and patent shoes at The Vogue, 6259 N. College Ave. Indianapolis. Doors open at 9 p.m. and the pseudo-MJ will sweep the stage and craze the crowd at 10:30 p.m. Tickets are $8 at the door.
Laugh without an explanation
Laugh without an explanation? Comedian Kevin Hart will be.
The actor/comedian featured in movies such as “Meet the Fockers” and “The Five-Year Engagement” and TV shows such as “Modern Family” will be telling his tales with some major comedic twists on his comedy tour, “Let Me Explain.”
Bring your friends, laugh a lot and let Kevin do the explaining for you this weekend.
Start the satire tonight at 8 p.m. at Bankers Life Fieldhouse, 125 S. Pennsylvania St., Indianapolis. For ticket information, visit www.ticketmaster.com.
