1) Looking for a white Christmas?

Footlite Musicals continues its holiday production of Irving Berlin’s “White Christmas,” with performances tonight, Saturday and Sunday at Hedback Community Theater, 1847 North Alabama Street, Indianapolis.

Curtain time for the Friday and Saturday performances is 7:30 p.m., and the Sunday matinee starts at 2:30 p.m. Admission is $20 for all seats. Children 10 and under will be admitted for $10. All seats are reserved, and reservations may be made by phoning the Footlite box office at 317-926-6630 or making them online at Footlite’s website, www.footlite.org.

Based on the beloved, timeless 1954 Paramount Pictures film of the same name, “White Christmas“ is a heartwarming stage musical adaptation featuring 17 Irving Berlin songs and a book by David Ives and Paul Blake. It’s a great way to get in the holiday spirit.

2) Country tunes

See country artist Neil McCoy perform live at the Honeywell Center in Wabash Sunday afternoon or evening. There are shows at 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Ticket prices range from $18 to $35.

Neal McCoy’s brand of pop country, honky tonk, love ballads and sweet Texas swing has brought him a string of hits since the 90s. His baritone voice and million-dollar smile have made him a favorite on the concert stage.

3) Let your inner geek out

Indianapolis Marriott East is hosting the annual Starbase Indy convention this weekend. There will be gaming and science programming and photo ops with the stars of “Deep Space Nine,” “Stargate SG-1” and “Star Trek: The Next Generation.” There will be a masquerade on Saturday night and dealer’s rooms with unique merchandise. The cost to register at the door is $55. Don’t be afraid to let your inner geek out.
