Why help Japan defeat Big Three?
On Dec. 7, 1941, the United States of America was attacked by the Japanese. America was caught flat-footed. We were way behind in materials, men, training and logistics.
President Roosevelt ordered automakers to stop producing cars and converted the factories to make war products such as tanks, guns, ammunition. The Big Three and their suppliers produced $30 billion worth of military equipment. Hundreds of UAW members that included your grandmas, aunts. Their mission was to defeat the Japanese.
Yet why is it today that many Americans are helping the Japanese defeat the automakers and the UAW by buying Japanese cars at a record pace?
How many Japanese do you see driving American cars? Japanese people are loyal to their country unlike many Americans.
Another thing to think about is for every 10 automakers’ jobs lost there are seven private sector jobs lost. It may be yours next.

Churches should start doing God’s work
Many years ago when I was a small boy, many of the preachers preached on the fires of hell. Very few if any preach this anymore. The preachers of that day probably scared more people out of hell then than the preachers of today preaching about heaven. Both are real places; they are not figments of somebody’s imagination. Recently a mathematician figured that heaven would hold 100 million times a 100 million mansions. He did not say how big the mansions were.
It is very unfortunate that there will be many more people in hell than in heaven. Do you want to be responsible for this? I believe that very few bankers, loan sharks or politicians will make it to heaven. On the other hand there will not be as many preachers there as they think.
The Bible, Talmud and Quran say that it is the responsibility of the religious people to take care of the poor, elderly and the homeless. Many of the preachers say, “Give and it will be returned many fold.” That is not entirely correct. Not talking money.
It was not meant that the preacher could live in a several hundred thousand dollar home, drive an expensive car, take cruises or own an airplane, while the government takes care of the poor.
Whoa to the preachers who have told their flocks not to be involved in politics. If God let this nation or any other nations that are so conceived, go unattended and they have become as anti-God as this nation, there will be hell to pay. You do not plant a tree and not water it. The only nation that has been more blessed than this nation would be Israel. And they have been taken to task many times.
Last year a church was being remodeled in Indianapolis. They spent several weeks putting copper flashings up and a lot of expensive work. Considering cost they could have done the job for far less and helped a lot of poor people. Do the people of such congregations go for the building or to worship God? How many people go to be seen or for the music? Will this get them into heaven? One of my sons is on the finance board of one of these churches. He says that every time they get a windfall, they try to see how to blow it. It would seem that many churches are more interested in money. If the IRS were part of the government they would all be government churches since all have asked this illegal and privately owned entity to be tax exempt. There are churches that sit on millions of dollars in property, take in thousands of dollars every month and do nothing for the poor and homeless. Shame. Yet, they are tax exempt while many people have problems paying property taxes.
I am getting tired of telling you people that the IRS is incorporated in Puerto Rico and is nothing but a collection agency for another private entity, the Federal Reserve Bank.
