Karickhoff has needed experience

Kokomo needs to re-elect Mike Karickhoff to the Kokomo city council. His experience and commitment are unmatched by any other candidate running for that position.

He has proven that he is a true community leader by the many boards and service clubs that he has joined. He not only joined these organizations, but also has assumed leadership roles in each one.

His knowledge of the inner workings of the city and the needs of the people has been well demonstrated. He was elected president of the council by a unanimous vote, showing that he can act in a bipartisan way for the good of the people of Kokomo.

Kokomo is a city in transition, and we need the best-qualified and experienced leaders that we can find. Mike is such an individual. Kokomo needs Mike Karickhoff to help the city move in a positive direction.

I’ve known Mike for over 20 years. He is experienced, committed and has the leadership qualities to keep us the City of Firsts. Please vote for Mike Karickhoff on Nov. 6.

Hamilton will move Kokomo forward

A very important city election is coming up soon. A new mayor will be elected to lead our community for the next four years. I believe Rick Hamilton is imminently qualified to fill that position.

I have known Rick since his Babe Ruth baseball days at Huston Park, approximately 38-40 years ago. I believe Rick to be a man of integrity with keen leadership skills. Rick possesses the ability to work with all the members of the Kokomo Common Council to reach a consensus on matters of importance to the citizens of our city.

A vote for Rick Hamilton for mayor on Nov. 6 will be a vote that moves Kokomo in the right direction.

Haworth devoted years to service

I would like to recommend to the voters this election a candidate that has served this community for most of his adult life.

That candidate is Dan Haworth, the present 4th District councilman. Thankfully, he is available to represent Kokomo and the 4th District for another four years.

I’ve known Dan for about 35 years and am aware of his service, support and devotion to the people of Kokomo and especially the 4th District.

Dan has personally and financially supported the community and particularly the youth programs in Kokomo. He sponsored teams, coached the players and he and his good wife, Sharon, worked in many functions of need for the youth of Kokomo.

This devotion to the people and for this community has also been apparent in his service as the 4th District councilman. He has given countless hours to the work required of the position.

He has been involved in many difficult decisions as a member of the council, but with one rule as his guide, his decisions have been in the best interest of Kokomo and his constituency of the 4th District.

Please support and vote for Dan Haworth to continue as your representative on the council for another four years.
