God has said plainly homosexuality is sin

I believe there is a vast majority of voters in this state who are very eager to get to the polls and vote for the sanctity of marriage.

And when they do, marriage, as it was planned, designed and blessed by God himself to be between a man and a woman, will be upheld and honored.

In case you don’t know, let me tell you what marriage is not.

Marriage is not an agreement or contract or covenant between a man (or men) and another man (or men).

Marriage is not an agreement or contract or covenant between a woman (or women) and another woman (or women).

Marriage is not an agreement or contract or covenant between a man and two or more women or an animal or alien ... or fill in the blank with whatever your heart desires.

Now, let’s explain what marriage is.

Marriage is a covenant relationship between one man and one woman, joined by God himself. It’s a sacred union where God is the center of the relationship.

Now, isn’t that a great plan?

How do I know this? God himself told me. Yes, the creator and sustainer of the universe told me. How? Well he planned that too.

He had his word recorded and passed down through thousands of years so that all people could read it, accept it, and have a personal relationship with him. His plan even included saving us and giving us eternal life with him in heaven. He loves us so much that he sent his only son, Jesus Christ, to save us from our sins. Sins? Yes, sins.

Unfortunately, sin is a part of every human being that ever lived, and we all need forgiven.

So, how do I really know if I am sinning? Well, that’s real easy. If what I am doing does not make God pleased and does not align with his word, well, that’s sin.
