We’re not voting for a minister
The political force that continues to criticize Mitt Romney for his wealth have willingly ignored the fact that President Obama is also very wealthy. The dirty little fact is, though, Romney acquired his wealth through his family and his own ingenuity, and Obama acquired his off the backs of the taxpayers (and still is).
But God forbid that we let the facts or the truth get in the way!
Another issue that really perturbs me is the self-righteous pundits saying they can’t vote for a Mormon. It’s ironic, but I don’t remember anyone criticizing President Kennedy’s wealth or Catholic faith! We are voting for a president, not a minister!
If I’m correct, I don’t recall the Mormons destroying our economy or causing the unemployment to escalate, and I’m certain they didn’t blow up the World Trade Center, so what’s the beef?
It’s apparent the self-righteous need to get their heads out of the sand and wake up to reality.
