51st UPDATE: News from snowstorm


Kokomo —

IU KOKOMO BASKETBALL GAME MOVED: Game with Salem will be 4 p.m. Wednesday.

IND. 22 CLOSES: Tribune reporter Carson Gerber says the state Department of Transportation has closed a 7-mile stretch of Ind. 22, east of Kokomo, from Ind. 213 to Ind. 13. Ind 213 south of Ind. 22 also is closed.

POWER OUTAGES: Tribune reporter Lauren Fitch says 97 homes in Howard County are without power. In Tipton County, 1,838 homes don't have power.

REMINDER FROM CITY, COUNTY: Government essential workers and public health and safety personnel only allowed on roads for travel until noon Monday.

New Associate General Orientation has been rescheduled for 12:30-4 p.m. Wednesday.

ALL INDIANA UNIVERSITY CAMPUSES CLOSE MONDAY: Campuses will be closed until 9 p.m. Monday. Administrators will re-evaluate closings Monday evening.


KOKOMO YMCA CLOSED MONDAY: That includes the Child Care Center.


DELPHI ELECTRONICS CLOSES UNTIL NOON MONDAY: That is when the travel restrictions are to be lifted.


KOKOMO CITY-LINE TROLLEY WILL NOT OPERATE MONDAY: Spirit of Kokomo bus will be used in emergencies.
