Be an ‘Idol’ judge and help Bridges Outreach Thursday

Kokomo Auto World will make donations for those attending.

Tribune staff report

— Kokomo Auto World will present “Go Further with Ford Night” from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday.

Benefiting Bridges Outreach, the free event is part of the automaker’s “Random Acts of Fusion” adventure, which is a program hosted by Ryan Seacrest.

“We all want to be part of something bigger, and Go Further with Ford Night is our way of offering consumers the chance to give back to our community, have a lot of fun, enjoy the final random act – which will test their judging skills to win a unique VIP ‘American Idol’ experience – and meet the all-new Ford Fusion in person,” said Greg Landwerlen, owner of Kokomo Auto World.

For each person who attends Thursday’s event, Kokomo Auto World will donate $10 – up to a total of $500 – to Bridges Outreach.

Those attending will have the opportunity to compete to win a trip to Hollywood. Using a webcam set up at the dealership, you can view a message from Seacrest and then test your judging skills on camera, in true American Idol style.

Entries will be sent back to Ford’s program headquarters, where a team will evaluate and select one winner to receive an all-expenses-paid trip for two to Hollywood.

To participate, you may preregister at www.RandomActsofFusion.com and be entered for a chance to win tickets to a live taping of “American Idol.” Additionally, registrants who attend Thursday will be entered to win a 2013 Ford Fusion. No purchase is necessary and other restrictions apply. See full official rules online for details.
