Kirkland’s is coming to Kokomo and shining a new light on the Boulevard Crossing Shopping Center. The store will feature a fine collection of home decor ranging from lamps and framed artwork to gifts and seasonal merchandise. The store is set for a grand opening celebration Sunday where a lucky customer will win a $500 gift card.
For Kokomo, the new location is one of 324 chains for the popular home goods shopping locale, Kirkland’s opening will introduce 15 to 18 new jobs to the area and a shopping experience with great value.
Sandy Young, Kirkland’s Kokomo store manager, said Kirkland’s is a destination designed to make decorating your home a one-stop shop.
“We are here to provide Kokomo residents a valuable shopping experience and work to give each customer great service,” Young said. “We can offer Kokomo residents more for their money. All of our pieces work as one cohesive unit to tie an entire room together.”
Young said Kokomo shoppers will have a wide range of products and prices to choose from at Kirkland’s and may be surprised with the interactive shopping experiences they may encounter at the company’s latest location
“Kirkland’s offers a wide selection of home décor and accessories at a great value,” Young said. “Shoppers can even download our new smartphone app, Spin to Win, to increase savings both online and in stores. Until Sunday, customers can also use their smartphones to go on an interactive treasure hunt to earn discounts or win $10,000.”
Michelle Graul, senior vice president of stores and human resources for Kirkland’s, said the newest chain for the 47-year-old company — which is also carries garden accessories and artificial floral products — is getting nestled in its new home at Boulevard Crossing Shopping Center.
“Expanding to the Boulevard Crossing shopping center is a great opportunity for Kirkland’s,” said Graul. “We are excited to join the Kokomo community and invite everyone to enjoy Kirkland’s selection of home décor and accessories.”
