Snow is predicted to taper off this afternoon, with total daytime accumulations of 1 to 2 inches in much of Central Indiana. Winds may gust to around 30 mph, adding to driving hazards.
Visibility may be reduced to a quarter of a mile in some areas.
The National Weather Service predicts scattered snow showers will continue Friday as a train of quick moving systems moves through. Another round of snow showers is expected to arrive Saturday, with the chance for accumulation possible.
This system will be accompanied by cold temperatures, causing wind chills near zero degrees.
