July has come to Kokomo. So, we started daydreaming about getting away from it all:

“If you could take a vacation anywhere in the world this summer where would you go and why?”

Your answers

“Bahamas with my hubby on a five-day cruise. Guess we will have to wait until next summer. Settle for Tennessee this summer.” – Misty Quezada Cruz

“Ireland, probably. I did an International Business paper on Ireland and it seems like a fantastic place to be. Yeah, there's a stereotype about angry Irish people, but really they are very laid back and just like to laugh and have fun. Plus I want to go to a real Irish pub and stay the night in a castle. Oh yeah, and it's beautiful.” – Heather Sautter

“Higgens Lake, Michigan. My mother in law has a lake cabin and we spend a week in paradise every year. I was born and raised in Michigan so I love going back to visit.” – Julie Walker-Vogl

“Salzburg, Austria because it's the most beautiful city in the world to me and was where I did my first vocal concert in 1980 and I'd love to revisit that experience.” – Deborah Kohl

“Ireland and all over Great Britain. My dream has always to spend the entire month of July driving and stopping anywhere that caught my eye. Come on Powerball win so I can do that!” – Ranae Richardson-Dean

Our answers

“Austin, Texas to visit family and friends.” - Janet Lucas

“My ideal vacation would be to visit France in an effort to trace my family's roots in the Basque country. While in France I would have to attend the 24 hours of LeMans race.” – Ken de la Bastide
