Summer is the time for reading in the outdoors. We wanted to know what you had on your list:

“What books are you planning on reading this summer?”

Your answers

“I'm reading the Harry Potter books again! It's been a while. I miss them.” – Hannah Kinney

“‘Game of Thrones’ by George R.R. Martin.” – Todd Jordan

“Lots of cozy mysteries! I leave the heavier stuff for winter.” – Cindy Lichtenstiger Moss

“Just finished Edward Abbey's ‘Desert Solitaire.’ It is a little masterpiece. Abbey is a very underrated writer.” – Delbert Blanton

“The Bible” – Christopher Lee

“I'm not reading jack squat.” – Lee Lovegrove

Our answers

“Chimamanda Adichie's ‘Half of a Yellow Sun,’ Katherine Center's ‘The Lost Husband’ and Shauna Niequest's ‘Bread and Wine.’” - Stefani Closson

“‘Zodiac’ by Robert Graysmith.” – Josh Sigler

“It’s hard to read a book when you’re fishing. But I will read a few editions of Sports Illustrated.” – Mike Fletcher

“‘The Orphan Master's Son,’ by Adam Johnson and ‘Nostromo,’ by Joseph Conrad. Probably a bunch of stuff by Conrad. I tend to read in streaks, and I haven't read anything of his since college.” – Scott Smith

“Khaled Hosseini's newest book, ‘And the Mountains Echoed.’” – Jan Lucas

“I just finished with ‘Going Clear: Scientology, Hollywood, and the Prison of Belief’ by Lawrence Wright, which was very interesting. The book I’m looking forward to reading most this summer comes out July 9: ‘I Wear the Black Hat: Grappling with Villains (Real and Imagined)’ by one of my favorite authors, Chuck Klosterman.” – Rob Burgess
