Kokomo man faces two molestation charges

A 20-year-old Kokomo man faces two counts of child molest. Police allege he molested a 12-year-old girl.

Kokomo police arrested Brandon C. Labranche at the Kokomo Rescue Mission Tuesday evening on a Howard Circuit Court warrant for two Class B felony charges of child molest.

Maj. Brian Seldon of the Kokomo Police Department said the investigation began with a Sept. 16 complaint from the victim. Seldon said Labranche is cooperating with the investigation and admitted to the crimes.

Labranche remains jailed on $25,000 bail. If convicted, he could face up to 20 years on each of the Class B felony offenses
