New love nest for Jennifer Aniston

---- — Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux may not be married yet, but they certainly are well on their way to starting their life together. Renovations are complete on the $21 million Bel-Air mansion that Aniston purchased in January 2012, and photo agency X17 has pictures of the finished pad. The 8,500 square foot house that was originally designed by Quincy Jones and built in 1965 certainly got an extensive makeover (and an additional 4,000 square feet).

According to permit records filed with the Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety, the following was added: a bedroom addition, master bedroom addition and remodel, a carport addition, a kitchen and bathroom remodel (but no structural changes), a stairway relocation, a one-story “new accessory living quarters” addition, a remodel of the pool and spa area, a pool house remodel, and a “new (10-square-foot) counter bar, library and powder room.”

Aniston also performed quite the impressive landscaping overhaul, for which she added a vegetable garden.

So, everything seems pretty standard here for an A-List celebrity, right? Well, there’s one more thing they have on site and it’s not the sort of thing you might not expect … Aniston and Theroux have a big ol’ chicken coop.

“They’re very social animals, and they like it when you visit them with a cup of coffee in your hand,” Aniston explained about why she decided to keep the chickens around. “According to my groundskeeper, they love pasta.”

Considering the chicken’s abode is located right next to the guesthouse, Aniston and Theroux’s overnight visitors may not share their same sentimental feelings towards the chickens. Hopefully new neighbors Kim Kardashian and Kanye West (who are also renovating their Bel-Air love nest) won’t file any clucking complaints, either.
