The Tipton County Board of Commissioners will hold an emergency special meeting at 8:45 a.m. on Friday in the Tipton County Commissioners room.
The meeting notice states the special meeting will be held to discuss “pursuing litigation involving actual or threatened disruption of governmental activity within the Tipton County Commissioners’ jurisdiction.”
Tipton County Commission President Phil Heron described the meeting as potentially “positive” news for the county, pending the outcome of the litigation, adding that it could lead to “more good news regarding economic development in the county.”
Prior to the meeting on Friday, commissioners have scheduled an executive session to discussion litigation at 8 a.m.
