YMCA gets tables, chairs back after mistaken theft

The tables and chairs report stolen Tuesday from the YMCA’s Camp Tycony have been returned.

Dave Dubois, executive director of YMCA, said the 98 chairs and nine tables are back at the camp’s facility and no charges will be filed in the case.

“A friend of ours borrowed them and was supposed to call and didn’t,” Dubois said Thursday. “It was an honest mistake. There was no harm intended and no harm done.”

A worker at the YMCA’s Camp Tycony reported the tables and chairs stolen Tuesday after he noticed a door had been ajar and the items were missing.
