The Howard County Alcoholic Beverage Board again postponed a scheduled liquor license hearing for Little Daddy's Show Club, 1527 S. Home Ave., citing an ongoing Kokomo police investigation.
Maj. Robin Poindexter of the Indiana State Excise Police said the board is hoping to hear the case once the KPD concludes its investigation.
In May, the KPD arrested seven dancers connected with Little Daddy's on prostitution and other charges, and arrested one man on drug dealing charges, alleging he delivered heroin to someone at the club.
Poindexter said the case might or might not be heard at the board's next meeting, Aug. 22, depending on the status of the investigation. He said if the KPD still hasn't concluded its investigation by the September meeting, the Little Daddy's case will be heard, regardless.
Little Daddy's owner Dan Dumoulin II is seeking a renewal of the club's liquor license. The Indiana Alcohol & Tobacco Commission was asked to rule on the renewal after the local board deadlocked earlier this year, but the state board sent the case back to the local board for an additional fact-finding hearing.
