Working out can be an insane feat. But, Kokomo YMCA’s newest class is designed to challenge you to accomplish that feat, even if it’s titled: “Insanity.”
Erin Larison, communication and relationship director at Kokomo YMCA, said the class that kills calories is scheduled three times a week: Tuesday at 5:30 p.m., Thursday at 9 a.m. and Friday at 5 a.m. free of charge to members. But, Larison adds that while it’s a power-house workout class, it’s not impossible to get through.
“It’s an advanced class that features a ton of modifications; it’s an intense in-your-face workout that burns calories and burns fat, but our instructors offer some modifications so instead of doing squat jumps, you can do just squats,” Larison said.
