Kokomo Tribune

---- — Patrons at a south side tavern were jolted from their chairs and bar stools Thursday when a glass window in the front of the business shattered, sending shards of glass flying.

No one was injured in the incident and no arrests have been made, Kokomo police reported.

Officers were called to Bert & John’s Tavern on East Hoffer Street at 9:01 p.m. to a report of someone busting out the window. Bar patrons rushed outside, but the person who broke the window had fled. Police believe the window was hit with some kind of blunt object, but nothing was found at the scene.

Anyone with information should contact the Kokomo Police Department at 765-459-5101.
