Armed with that knowledge, the committee will review applications and select candidates for an initial interview. Then the pool will be narrowed again, and a select few will be brought in for a second interview.
From there, a group of finalists will be chosen and brought to campus, Lowe said.
The formal appointment will be made by the IU Board of Trustees.
Lowe said he didn’t have an exact timeline for when all of this will happen, but the new chancellor is expected to start in July of next year.
