McCoy hired on as Chamber manager
Greater Kokomo Economic Development Alliance leaders have announced they’ve hired Karen McCoy as the new manager of the Kokomo-Howard County Chamber of Commerce.
“I have a background of owning a small business for many years in Kokomo, as well as working at Greater Greenwood Chamber of Commerce in recent years,” McCoy said in the GKEDA e-newsletter. “I am excited to return to Kokomo where I have lived most of my life.”
McCoy noted GKEDA unveil the 2014 Alliance strategic plan at its annual dinner on Nov. 7, a showcase for new programs and initiatives for the Chamber.
“I invite you to please feel free to reach out to me via phone, email or to meet so we can discuss utilizing your membership to its fullest potential and to explore any ideas or thoughts you might have that could be incorporated in our 2014 strategic plan,” she said. “My door is always open.” McCoy can be reached at 765-319-0027or email at email@example.com.
