SEATTLE — Two Howard County residents were killed last night while crossing the street near a middle school in Seattle.
Judy Schulte, the retired director of guidance at Northwestern High School, and her husband, Dennis Schulte, died after being struck by a truck. A Washington resident with multiple drunken driving and other traffic violations was booked on suspicion of vehicular homicide.
Also injured in the crash were the Schultes’ daughter-in-law and 10-day-old grandson. They were listed in critical condition Monday night.
