KPD looking for Walgreens robber

No one injured in the Wednesday evening hold-up.

---- — Kokomo police are looking for a man who held up Walgreens near downtown Wednesday evening while armed with a knife.

No one was injured in the hold-up.

Officers were dispatched at 7:44 p.m. to the store, located at 107 S. Washington St., to a report of robbery, Maj. Brian Seldon reported Thursday.

Seldon said the man walked into the store, displayed a knife and demanded money. After taking an undisclosed amount of cash, the man fled on foot.

He was described as a white male standing 5 feet 3 inches to 5 feet 5 inches tall and wearing a hooded sweatshirt with Ivy Tech written on the front, Seldon said. The man also had a gray ski mask covering his face.
