An initial hearing is set for 1:30 p.m. today.
Howard County Clerk Kim Wilson said Ebert, who works in the clerk’s office on the second floor of the Courthouse, is suspended without pay pending the outcome of the case.
If convicted, she could receive up to three years in prison on the official misconduct and up to a year on the assisting a criminal charge.
