Kokomo police are asking for the public’s help in finding a man wanted for attempting to rob a Village Pantry Aug. 12.

According to police, a man entered the business at about 1:26 a.m. and demanded money from the cashier.

The clerk did not see a weapon and the man fled before obtaining any money.

The suspect was described as between 40 to 50 years old, standing between 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 7 inches tall weighing 160 to 170 pounds and wearing a light-colored baseball style hat, blue and white colored long sleeve flannel pattern shirt, and blue jeans.

Police released a store surveillance photo of the suspect in the store in hopes someone can recognizes the man and call police.
