Police are tracking down the latest lead in the search for two fugitives from Michigan. A woman reported she saw the two men at The Grocery Sack, 212 E. Markland Ave., about 11:30 a.m. today.
The woman said the two men matched the description of Kenneth L. Grauman II, 32, and Gregory A. Bradshaw, 23, both of Allegan County. They slipped away from a Michigan Department of Corrections residential re-entry facility Sept. 29 and have been on the run since. After their escape, police said, the two men stole at least two vehicles — one from Kokomo — and burglarized several houses.
At The Grocery Sack, the woman told police she saw a man who looked liked Bradshaw driving away from the store in a pickup truck with no license plate. Police responded to the store, but the men had already fled. Police continue following up on leads.
On Thursday, the men were spotted in Kokomo after a stolen vehicle from Michigan was recovered from a parking lot at Kroger on South Washington Street. Police say the men also are responsible for stealing a 2006 silver GMC Sierra pickup truck containing two rifles from the area of Malfalfa Road and Defenbaugh Street.
Police have received several tips about the whereabouts of the two fugitives, but nothing has panned out so far, Maj. Brian Seldon of the Kokomo Police Department.
Anyone who has information about these men should contact the Kokomo Police Department at 765-459-5101, or the KPD Hotline at 765-456-7017.
