---- — NOBLESVILLE – A 28-year-old Kokomo man died early Sunday morning in a single-vehicle crash near Noblesville after police say he crashed into a guardrail.

Bryan L. Erb was pronounced dead on scene after police arrived at the crash shortly after 1 a.m.

Based on preliminary information and evidence at the scene, police said Erb was driving a Ford Mustang northbound on the 19800 block of Ind. 37 when the vehicle left the right side of the road and collided with a guardrail.

As a result of the collision, police said the vehicle came to rest inverted with Erb trapped inside.

The crash closed Ind. 37 from Allisonville Road to Promise Road for about three hours, police said, due to an extensive investigation by authorities.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation at this time. The Noblesville Police Department and Hamilton County Coroner’s Office will be investigating the incident.

Alcohol has not been ruled out as contributing factor.

There will be no additional information available until the investigation has been completed, police said.
