Police: Village Pantry robbed at gunpoint

Kokomo — A man held up at gunpoint a Village Pantry convenience store Wednesday evening, police say.

No injuries were reported in the robbery and no arrests have been made.

The man walked into the store at 904 W. Jefferson St. at about 9:45 p.m., armed with a handgun, and demanded money, according to a police report.

The clerk collected cash from the register and gave the man an undisclosed amount of cash. The robber then fled the business. More information will be released as it becomes available, police said.
