Haunted Peru

Here's your calender for chills and thrills this Halloween.

Looking for some Halloween thrills and chills this year on Oct. 31? There’s plenty to do in Peru and Miami County on the most haunted day of the year. Whether trick-or-treating with the kids or jumping out of your pants at a haunted house, here’s a list of what’s going on around the county.

• Trick or Treat Party at St. John’s Lutheran Church from 6 to 8 p.m. There will be candy, games, storytelling and fun! Everyone is welcome. For more information call 765-473-6659.

• The City of Peru Trick or Treat hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Please turn on your porch light for the kids who are trick-or-treating.

• Join Main Street United Methodist Church for some fun from 5 to 7 p.m. in the church parking lot. Bring the kids for a hot dog dinner and then trick-or-treating in the church parking lot, with a free gift basket giveaway drawing. For more information call 765-472-3323.

• Stop by St. Charles Catholic Church for some trunk-or-treat fun from 5 to 8 p.m. For more information call 765-473-5543.

• Join folks at First Presbyterian Church for a trunk-or-treating good time in the church’s parking lot from 5 to 7 p.m. For more information call 765-472-2962.

• Drive-through trick-or-treat at Dukes Memorial Hospital is from 5 to 8 p.m. on the Boulevard Street entrance. For more information call 765-473-6621.

• Have fun and a safe trick-or-treating experience at Hickory Creek from 6 to 8 p.m. For more information call 765-473-4900.

• The EWCC Trick or Treat event is at EWCC Hall, 101 S. Jefferson St., Converse, from 5 to 8 p.m. For more information contact Gary Freeman at 765-395-3943.

• CCC Community “Light in the Night” Party will be on Eward Street from 5:30 to 8 p.m. For more information contact the CCC office at 765-395-3361.

• Panic Attack at Steel Magnolias on Jefferson Street. For times and dates call 765-395-5204.
