Katelyn Merrell and Dustin Smith

Katelyn Janean Merrell and Dustin Michael Smith have plans to wed Dec. 27, 2008, at First Baptist Church, Kokomo.

Katelyn is the daughter of Ted and Jean Merrell, Kokomo. She graduated from Northwestern High School in 2005 and plans to graduate from Purdue University in the spring of 2009 with a degree in elementary education.

Dustin is the son of Todd Smith and Peggy Richardson, both of Kokomo. He graduated from Northwestern High School in 2003 and from Ivy Tech in 2005 with a degree in design technology. He is a project manager for Merrell Bros., Inc.
