Fairfield Christian Church
The church, 1476 E. 400 South, Oakford, will host a Daddy-Daughter Dance from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday. The theme is “My Princess and Me.”
Tickets are $15 per family (dad and daughter/s) and can be purchased on Sunday mornings in the lobby of the church or in the church office from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
There will be a live DJ, dancing, sweets and treats, crafts, a guest speaker sharing encouraging words with fathers/father figures, a door prize, and photo booth.
It is a dressy event, and attendees are encouraged to dress “fit for royalty.”

First Friends Meeting
First Friends, a Christian church in the Quaker tradition, will have a chicken or beef and noodle dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. March 24 at 1801 W. Zartman Road. All are welcome.
The meal includes chicken or beef and noodles, mashed potatoes, green beans, rolls, and drink at a cost of $8. Desserts are $1. Noodle sundaes are $4. Children ages 3 through 10 are $3.50 and children under 3 years are free.
Dry noodles are sold by the pound, and menu items are also available by the quart. Carry-outs also are available.

Great Faith Ministry Safe Refuge Center
The church will sponsor a three-day marriage retreat Friday through Feb. 18 at the Hampton Inn, 2929 S. Reed Road. The theme is “Because if Loving You is Wrong, I Don’t Want to be Right.”
The cost is $150 per couple for all three days. The one-day cost for individuals is $25 per session or $50 for married couples. The Saturday workshop and lunch is $75.
Registration is 5 p.m. Friday, the workshop begins at 10 a.m. Feb. 17 and Sunday worship begins at 10:30 a.m. Feb. 18.

New Beginnings Christian Fellowship
“Living the Mission: It Includes Us” will be the title of Pastor Jeff Russell’s message at 10 a.m. Sunday at the church, 1900 N. Berkley Road, just north of Kokomo High School.
The sermon is a part of the theme “Our Mission: To Pray and To Plant” and will be based on Colossians 3:1-17, “reminding us that if we are connected with the living God, we are called to live in the realities of his eternal Kingdom. These realities will be presented and you will be challenged to choose whom you will serve, yourself or our Lord?”

South Side Christian Church
South Side Christian Church is hosting, along with First Christian and Northview Christian, an Ash Wednesday service at 7 p.m. Feb.14 at 201 E. Markland Ave. All are welcome.
Starting Ash Wednesday and continuing each Wednesday through March 21, the sanctuary at South Side Christian will be open from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for Lenten meditation, prayers and communion, if desired. All are welcome.
