Rickey Lee Cessor
Rickey Lee Cessor, 41, Hamburg, died Tuesday, June 10, 2008, at the Ashley County Medical Center in Crossett. Rickey was a native of Fountain Hill and a resident there for many years. He had also been a resident of Kokomo. He was a resident of Hamburg for the past 15 years, and he was an automotive mechanic for Ashley Auto Service in Hamburg.
He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast, and he loved fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Yvette Piker Cessor, Hamburg; a daughter, Sandra Kay Cessor, Leavenworth, Kansas; a stepdaughter, Kasey Byrd, Kokomo; two stepsons, Ryan Piker and wife Tonya, Hamburg, and Stephen Byrd, Kokomo; a sister, Louise Carter, Hamburg; three grandchildren, Emily, William and Kylie; a mother-in-law, Patricia Piker; sisters-in-law, Patty Nutter and husband Jimmy, Tammy Hatfield and husband Tracy, Teresa Gamblin and husband Glen, and Paula Mashburn, all of Kokomo; a brother-in-law, Matthew Piker and finance Cat, Kokomo, and Chuck Piker and wife Carolyn, Greenville, Miss.; a niece, Edith Kay Fisher; and four nephews, Judd, Vernon, Steven and Johnny Carter; and an uncle, Doug Piker.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnnie Lee and Edith Mae Stanley Cessor; a sister, Sharon Cessor; and his father-in-law, Chuck Piker.
Funeral services are 2 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home with the Rev. Warren Finney and the Rev. Bud Banks officiating. Burial will be in the Norris Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers are Stephen Byrd, Steven Carter, Chuck Piker Jr., Pete Carter, Dean Smith, Glen Pamplin, Randy Cessor and David Carter. Honorary pallbearers are Donnie Hayes, Charles Carter Jr., Thomas Tillman and Joe Fred Yates.
