Marjorie L. Hamilton

Marjorie L. Hamilton, 80, Kokomo, went to be with the Lord at 1:05 p.m. Wednesday, July 2, 2008, at Century Villa Health Care and Rehab, Greentown. She was born Oct. 26, 1927, in Kokomo, to George and Lucy Binney (Stahl). On Jan. 6, 1946, in Kokomo, she married Samual E. “Buzz” Hamilton.
She worked as a bookkeeper for Eriks Chevrolet retiring after 15 years of service. She attended Kokomo High School and graduated in 1946. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church. She loved to paint and play cards.
She is survived by a son, Rod K. Hamilton and his wife, Reneé, Rochester; daughter, Vicky Titus and her husband, Nick, Kokomo; three grandchildren, Marcia Karnes and her husband, Tim, Kokomo, Greg Hamilton and his wife, Kristy, Rochester, and Missey Johnson and her husband, Dean, Rochester; six great-grandchildren, one niece, and two nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two brothers.
Services are 3 p.m. Sunday at Ellers Mortuary, 3400 S. Webster St., with Pastor Kerry Williams officiating. Burial will be in Albright Cemetery. Friends may call from 1 p.m. until the time of the service Sunday at the mortuary. Arrangements were handled by Ellers Mortuary Kokomo.
