Virginia “Ginny” L. Ingle, 70, Kokomo, passed away on Sunday, July 6, 2008, at Howard Regional Health System. She was born Nov. 10, 1937, in Pilot, Ky., to Elmer I. and Stella M. (Rogers) Brown. On Sept. 11, 1965, she married Dwight Ingle Sr. and he survives.
She worked for Delco for over 18 years before her retirement in 1991. She enjoyed shopping, crocheting, flower gardening and loved to travel.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Karen Jaimz and her husband, Pete, Lisa Kenoyer and her husband, Joe, and April Thomas and her husband, John; two sons, Larry Johnson and his wife, Christy, and Michael Ingle; one daughter-in-law, Teresa Ingle; five brothers, Lillard Brown, Fred Elliot, John Bingaman, Willbur Bingaman and Junior Summer; three sisters, Christine Spencer, Vina Hedrick and Ann Marshall; 24 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and her stepmother, Lucy (Brown) Knotts.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Dwight Ingle Jr.; infant brother, Robert Brown; and one sister, Ella York.
Funeral services are 1 p.m. Friday at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home with Pastor Timothy Kenoyer officiating. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery. Visitation is 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
