Alan Howard MacDonald

Jan. 28, 1942 - July 15, 2008

Alan Howard MacDonald, former resident, passed away at his home in Bantam, Conn., on Tuesday, July 15, 2008. He was born in Brampton, Ontario, Canada, on Jan. 28, 1942. Howard married the late Anne Carol Parsons on Nov. 9, 1963.

He was a fellow of the Society of Actuaries and achieved the rank of Gold Life Master in the American Contract Bridge League.

He is survived by sons Jay, Jeffrey and Jonathan, and grandchildren Melissa, Sophie, Emma, Marah and Robert.
