Max L. Haworth Jr.

Sept. 10, 1961 - July 16, 2008

Max L. Haworth Jr., 46, Greentown, died 11:01 p.m. Wednesday, July 16, 2008, in Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis. He was born Sept. 10, 1961, in Kokomo.

He worked as a shipping and receiving manager at K-Mart for 18 years. He also was owner and operator of Haworth Doughnut Shop.

He graduated from Kokomo High School in 1980. He attended Zion Tabernacle and was an avid fisherman.

Along with the love of his life, Debbie Douglass, Max is survived by mother, Glenda Easton and stepfather, Robert Easton; daughters, Rachelle Clark and her husband, David, Kokomo, and Melinda Roberts, Kokomo; a son, Danny Henry, Kokomo; grandchildren, Makaila, Emily, Sara, Josh, Jonathon and Patrick Clark, Phillip Michael and Patrick Neiel Roberts, Danny Jr. and Joey Henry; brothers, Kenneth Fields, Greg Haworth, Kokomo, and Scott Haworth, Kokomo; a sister, Debra Nance, Hawaii; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by both maternal and paternal grandparents; his father Max L. Haworth Sr.; and several aunts and uncles.

Services are 11 a.m. Tuesday at Ellers Mortuary Main Street Chapel, 725 S. Main St., and Pastor Mike Rush will officiate. Entombment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Calling is 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the mortuary. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Envelopes will be available at the mortuary.
