Christopher Michael Sample

Nov. 29, 1977 - July 19, 2008

Christopher Michael Sample, 30, Greentown, passed away 3:55 p.m. Saturday, July 19, 2008, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident at U.S. 35/Ind. 22 and 450 East in Kokomo. He was born Nov. 29, 1977, in Kokomo to Bonnie Jean (McCain).

Mr. Sample was self-employed.

He is survived by the mother of his children, Autasha Drake, Sharpsville; son, Gavin Michael Sample, Sharpsville; daughter, Breanna Marie Drake, Sharpsville; stepfather, Paul McGuire Jr., Greentown; sisters, Bridgette Durham, Kokomo, Misty Hullinger, Jonesboro, Ark., and Crystal Sample, Greentown; stepbrothers, Brad McGuire, Peru, Chad McGuire, Kokomo, and Randy McGuire, Russiaville; and several nieces and nephews also survive.

He was preceded in death by both his mothers, Judy L. (McCain) McGuire and Bonnie Jean (McCain) Williams; a niece, aunt and grandmother.

Services are 4 p.m. today at Ellers Mortuary Main Street Chapel, 725 S. Main St., with Pastor Brad Swain officiating. Visitation is 2 to 4 p.m. today at the mortuary. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Greentown.
