Beverly A. Draper

June 8, 1931 - Sept. 5, 2008

Beverly A. Draper, 77, Cutler, died 4:17 a.m. Friday, Sept. 5, 2008, at Waterford Place Health Campus, Kokomo. Born June 8, 1931, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Vernon and Elva (Douglas) Payne. She was married to Robert Draper and he preceded her in death.

She was a homemaker and a member of Cutler Presbyterian Church. She graduated from Cutler High School in 1949.

She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister who was known for her sense of humor and wit. She was an avid animal lover.

Survivors include a daughter, Paula (Gary) Eller, Kokomo; five grandchildren, Noel (Patty) Evans, Suzanne (Adam) Wrightsman, Amanda Eller, Carson Eller and Dakota Eller; two great-grandchildren, Gabrielle Evans and Adryanna Wrightsman; three stepchildren; three stepgrandchildren; two stepgreat-grandchildren; and a sister, Janet (Willard) Best, Bringhurst.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Susan Clem.

Private graveside services are planned for this week at Maple Lawn Cemetery near Flora. No public calling is planned.

Memorial contributions can be made to Pancreatic Cancer Research, in care of Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions, 401 N. Broadway St., Weinberg Baltimore, MD 21231-2410.
