Marguerite Frances Detamore

March 24, 1918 - Oct. 18, 2009

Marguerite Frances Detamore, 91, Kokomo, passed away at 2:58 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 18, 2009, at Pleasant View Lodge in McCordsville. She was born March 24, 1918, in Magnolia, N.J., to the late Michael and Carrie (VanFossan) Keating. She was married to Stanley Charles Detamore.

Prior to her retirement, she had worked for the Kokomo Sanitary Pottery for many years.

Surviving is a son, J. Edward “Ed” Detamore, Indianapolis; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband and a son, David Wayne Detamore.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Ellers Mortuary, Webster Street Chapel, 3400 S. Webster St., with the Rev. Mary L. Harris officiating. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memory Garden Mausoleum. Friends may visit with the family from noon until time of services Thursday.
