Mildred Mae Humerickhouse, 75, Kokomo, passed to her heavenly home at 9:59 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, at Fairmont Rehabilitation Center, Kokomo. She was born in Howard County on April 7, 1937, to Carl and Delilah (Merrell) Michael. On July 3, 1970, she married Ronald Humerickhouse, who survives. She retired from Delco Radio after 10 years.
Surviving are three daughters, Patricia (Dave) Hostetler, Paris, Ill., Lisa (Joe Davis) Dotterweich, Muncie, and Edna Humerickhouse, Kokomo; five sisters, Doris Stern, Sandra Guge, Nancy (Mike) Wyant, Martha (Richard) Page, all of Kokomo, Jane (Tom) Sturgil, Tyler, Texas; two brothers, Bill Michael and James (Roni Roach) Michael, both of Kokomo. Also surviving are eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Michael King; four brothers, Charles, Matthew, Richard and Thomas Michael; and one sister, Phyllis Littrell.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home, 414 W. Jefferson St., with pastor Charlie Riley officiating the service. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service. Cremation will take place after the funeral service.
