Cenica Blair Salinas, 29, Kokomo, passed away Monday, April 1, 2013. She was born Oct. 22, 1983, in Kokomo to Robert Salinas, Kokomo, and Angel Kelley (Tiller) Martin, Windfall.
Cenica was a singer, songwriter and guitar player. She loved all aspects of music: listening, composing and playing. She also performed in various venues in the Kokomo area. She enjoyed spending time with family, attending church and volunteering.
She is survived by her parents; one son, August; three brothers, Chadrick Salinas, Kokomo, Troy Salinas, Kokomo, and Robbie Salinas, Florida; one sister, Lisa Salinas, Florida; maternal grandparents, Charlene and Arthur Honchell, Denver; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Walter F. Tiller; and paternal grandparents, Jesus and Olivia Salinas.
Visitation for family and friends will be from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at New Covenant Christian Center, 2298 E. Markland Ave., Kokomo. Private interment will be at a later date in Crown Point Cemetery. Shirley & Stout Funeral Homes and Crematory assisted the family with arrangements.
